The Kid| Review
Updated: May 31, 2022
Many silent film stars have fallen and become forgotten as time goes on, but one star has become so ingrained in cinema history that their legacy lives on forever, Charles Chaplin. Charlie Chaplin has produced many films, with some being masterpieces, throughout his exceptional career, but one has fallen short from the rest and has gathered an "underrated status"
The Kid by Charlie Chaplin has garnered a rather underrated status over the years when it itself frankly revolutionized and influenced a whole new style of comedy-drama. Blending heartfelt moments with slapstick, the film stands as one for the ages. Chaplin gives it his all in telling an emotional and compelling narrative.
Overall, The Kid by the great, Charlie Chaplin, succeeds in establishing a new genre, and itself having a masterful execution.
